Aloe Vera

Healing and anti-inflammatory. Aloe is used to effectively heal chronic skin problems, such as psoriasis, acne and eczema.

Argan Oil

High fatty acid, and vitamin C content. Non greasy, deep moisturizer. Fights inflammation, fine lines and wrinkles. Heals damaged skin.

Arrowroot

A starch extracted from the Marantaceae family of plants, arrowroot is an ancient and completely safe thickening agent in use for thousands of years with zero known side effects. Traditionally used in poultices, arrowroot has healing properties that help smooth and soften your skin.

Beeswax

Beeswax is naturally produced by bees, and has amazing benefits for skin and lips. According to the Mayo Clinic, beeswax is one of the best ways to heal and/or prevent chapped lips. Booswax applied to skin and lips creates a healthy protective layer that shields your body from environmental assault while helping you retain hydrating moisture.

Bentonite Clay

Naturally comprised of a variety of minerals including iron, sodium, calcium, magnesium, and potassium, bentonite clay helps unclog pores, remove blemishes, regulates sebum (too much of which causes acne), draws out toxins, exfoliates and softens your skin, and is completely safe for all skin types.

Chamomile

Properties include: Anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiseptic, antioxidant. Benefits for skin include: healing, eliminating free radicals, anti-aging, adding glow, reducing acne and breakouts, moisturizing.

Cinnamon

Not only does this herb smell and taste delicious, when applied to your skin it can restore shine and enhance your complexion by removing dead skin cells. Lessens the chance of skin infections while healing wounds and old scars. Contains healthy antimicrobials.

Cocoa

Cocoa is rich in proteins, thiamine, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, iron, Vitamin A, riboflavin, magnesium, and more. Antioxidant-rich, cocoa blocks harmful free radicals, provides benefits for cellular healing, increases blood flow to the skin, hydrates, and improves complexion.

Coconut Oil

Naturally antibacterial and antifungal. Deeply moisturizing, repairing and revitalizing skin. Protects skin cells from damage.

Ginger

Often used in naturopathic and home remedies for its many antioxidants, ginger helps scars to fade, reduces cellulite, evens skin tone, increases elasticity, and rejuvenates your skin.

Hyaluronic Acid

Anti aging, giving the skin a youthful appearance. Unlike collagen, Hyaluronic Acid is able to penetrate the skin’s upper layers to improve and benefit the skin when applied topically. Aids in tissue repair and protection.

Iron Oxides

Iron oxides are a compound of iron and oxygen. While these are natural elements, iron oxides are synthetic because they are man-made. Considered safe and natural because it is a controlled version of what happens naturally when iron and oxygen combine. They are non-toxic, non-irritating, and free of the impurities of naturally occuring iron oxide (aka rust). Used in very small amounts to provide color.

Jojoba Oil

Gentle and long lasting moisturizer. Contains nutrients such as vitamin E and B, as well as minerals like chromium and zinc. These nutrients nourish and protect skin from environmental stressors and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Nutmeg

Nutmeg has a wide range of antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, which help to lessen the effects of aging on your skin while fighting off free radicals, improving circulation, and healing minor wounds and blemishes.

Peppermint Oil

Boasts antiseptic and antimicrobial properties, which aid in keeping your skin cool and hydrated. Helps prevent acne, heal cracked lips, eliminate dandruff. It even helps with stress and fatigue.

Rosehip Oil

Full of vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids that are known to correct dark spots and hydrate dry, itchy skin, all while reducing scars and fine lines.

Shea Butter

Shea butter is a wonderful, vitamin-rich extract from the fruit seeds of the Shea tree. Helps moisturize and reduce inflammation while smoothing out your skin and providing plenty of vitamins A, E, and F. Plus UV protection with an SPF of about 6.

Vitamin E

Anti aging and moisturizing. Blocks free radicals, which age the skin.

Wild Orange Oil

This sweet-smelling essential oil has been shown to increase the skin's ability to absorb vitamin C while improving collagen production and blood flow, all of which are essential for anti-aging. Anti inflammatory. Improves complexion.

Witch Hazel

Shrinks pores. Natural astringent. Brightens skin and fades bruises or blemishes.

Zinc Oxide

Zinc has been in use since ancient times as a natural healing skin salve. Zinc oxide is created by heating zinc and combining it with oxygen. Nowadays, this healing mineral is often used in sunscreen, rash cream, and calamine lotion. It is effective in lowering inflammation, aiding recovery of damaged skin, moisturizing, and reducing the effects of aging in skin.
